Ponca City Public Schools junior Brady Wicker shot consistent rounds of 77-76 at Muskogee Country Club to advance to the 6A State Championships. The State tournament will take place at Forest Ridge Golf Course in Broken Arrow on May 10 & 11. Forest Ridge is a 5-hole event with 36 holes played on Monday, and 18 holes on Tuesday. The top 12 teams from 6A along with 10 individual qualifiers will competed for team and individual medals.

Brady has been a real consistent player this year. If we can keep the golf course in front of us, we have a strong chance of doing really well,” reported Head Boys Golf Coach Rod Alexander.
