Trinitas Ventures announced that it has closed on the site for Atmosphere Norman, a new purpose-built student housing community located at the southwest corner of Boyd Street and the BNSF railroad corridor.

Organizers say the development will replace the existing Ray Apartments.
Atmosphere Norman will consist of a seven-story, mixed-use residential development featuring 209 apartment units. There will be a mix of studio, one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom floor plans plus fitness and social spaces, a resort-style pool and podium parking.

Trinitas Ventures says Atmosphere Norman will be the first new institutional student housing community developed near the OU campus in more than a decade.
The project is expected to be complete in the summer of 2028.
