Charlie Adams Day car show and poker run in Newkirk Sept 12

Charlie Adams Day is shaping up to be a full day of fun in Newkirk on Saturday, September 12, and we’re excited to have the Show & Shine and Poker Run joining the festivities!

SHOW & SHINE | 8 AM–1 PM

Registration begins at 7:30 AM at the Extension Center, 9th & Maple.

• $20 entry

• Auto, Open & Motorcycle classes

• Trophies for the top 3 in each class

• Cash for 1st-place winners

• Dash plaques for the first 50 entries

POKER RUN

Sign-in: 12:30–1:30 PM at Landrun Distillery, 112 N. Main

• $20 per rider

• Extra hands: $5

• First out at 1 PM | Last in at 5 PM

• Sponsored by American Legion Riders, Chapter 18 – Ark City

• Proceeds help children with medical needs in the Kay/Cowley County area
