Carmela lived a beautiful life filled with kindness, warmth, and love for those around her. She had an incredibly generous heart and always made sure everyone had a full belly. Carmela carried a smile wherever she went, and her presence alone brought comfort and joy. She leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Born on September 12, 1981, in Michoacán, Mexico, Carmela was the beloved daughter of Simon Ochoa and Josefina Ruiz Ochoa. She grew up on a ranch in Michoacán alongside her parents and 18 siblings. Later, she moved to Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life, Jesus Ochoa Santos. Together they built a beautiful family and were blessed with four children: Daniela Ochoa, Jesus Gabriel Ochoa, Andrea Paola Ochoa, and Mateo Ochoa. She was also a proud grandmother to Mathias Allen Ochoa and Maliah Marychuy Ochoa. Together, they made their home in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
Throughout her life, Carmela found joy in the simple things. Whether she was cooking a meal, listening to music, or spending time with those she loved, her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by family and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Carmela’s greatest gift was her endless love. She will be remembered for her compassion, strength, courage, and the way she never failed to make everyone feel welcomed. Her kindness and love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
Carmela is survived by her loving husband, Jesus Ochoa Santos; her children, Daniela Ochoa, Jesus Gabriel Ochoa, Andrea Paola Ochoa, and Mateo Ochoa; her cherished grandchildren, Mathias Allen Ochoa and Maliah Marychuy Ochoa; as well as her many siblings, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon Ochoa and Josefina Ruiz Ochoa, and her brother, Noni Ochoa.
Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we find peace in knowing that Carmela’s love will remain with us forever. Her legacy will continue through the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
May she rest in eternal peace.
