The South Avenue underpass, will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, July 27, 2026 for repairs to structural steel members in the center of the underpass that were damaged in a vehicle accident in June.
The repairs will take approximately four days to complete and the underpass will remain closed until repairs are completed.
A detour route will be signed to direct traffic on a loop around the underpass using Pine Street, First Street and Grand Avenue.
