HOMINY, Okla. (KOKH) — A former Oklahoma bookkeeper was sentence after she stole more than $393,000 from a family business.
Officials say 54-year-old Susan Marie Garrison was sentenced to 33 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release. She was also ordered to pay $393,025.09 in restitution.
From 2017 through 2022, Garrison was a bookkeeper who handled the finances for a family business in Hominy.
Court documents show that she was responsible for managing financial activities, bank accounts, and preparing records.
