The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported as of 10:25pm last night that the segment of US-177 that runs from Hubbard Road in Blackwell to South Avenue in Tonkawa will be closed.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation advised OHP troopers that due to the three miles of power lines and power poles down, the stretch of road was expected to be closed for a couple of days.
Travelers are advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the area until further notice.
