Paul Eugene Becker

Paul Eugene Becker (94) of Malvern PA, beloved grandfather, passed away peacefully at home with his son and daughter-in-law on June 7th, 2026.

Paul was born on October 11, 1931, in Ringwood, Oklahoma to Ruie and Henry Becker. Paul’s family came to Oklahoma in 1900 where they settled on a farm northwest of Ringwood which was Paul’s home growing up. Paul’s early life included work on the farm and attending a one room schoolhouse which was prevalent at the time. After high school, Paul moved on and attended Bethel College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Arts. After college and getting married to Ellen Marie, with short stints in Michigan, South Dakota and Oklahoma City, Paul moved his family to Bethlehem PA and was employed by a firm of Architects and Engineers for 40 years (Coston-Frankfort-Short changed to Coston-Wallace-Watson and Wallace and Watson, Associates). During this time, Paul continued with his education attending night school at Lafayette College. Over these decades, Paul’s career certainly spanned a multitude of architectural and engineering design achievements.

Paul was known for his hobbies and interests including researching the family heritage and genealogy, collections of historical artifacts from the pioneer farming era of Oklahoma and his never-ending passion for knowledge. His love of working on the farm never left as tending his yardwork, plants and flowers continued until his passing including rebuilding of an extensive stone wall at our home. Paul made friends easily and became well known for his work. Paul’s last years were spent living with his son and daughter-in-law in a grandpa house he designed and built for himself at their property. Paul was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Paul is survived by his son Russell and daughter in law Rebekah, grandson Robert and his wife Jill and great grandson Brooks. In addition, Paul is survived by his stepson Ron Meyers and wife Karen, step-grandsons Jeff (wife Lori), Greg (wife Debbie), Danny (wife Lori) and Greg, step-great grandsons Jacob, Luke, Josh, Drew and Christopher, step-great granddaughters Tori, Megan, Francesca and Justina and additional step-great great grandsons and granddaughters.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife Ellen Marie, second wife Vera, his daughter Paula Infanti, grandson Jean Infanti and stepson Larry Meyers.

A Graveside service will be held on June 19th, 2026, at 11:00 at the Bayard Cemetery in Deer Creek Oklahoma, with Rev. Mark Meador officiating, burial will follow in the Bayard Cemetery.
