Man Arrested on Several Charges After Traffic Stop on South Palm

Tuesday afternoon, a PCPD Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300 Block of South Palm. When the Officer stopped the vehicle, the driver exited the vehicle and began walking away from the Officer. As the Officer attempted to stop the driver from walking away, the driver began fighting with the Officer and a State Trooper who arrived on the scene.
Once the driver was arrested, Officers located the following items in his vehicle:
• $9,225.00 cash
• 22.2 grams of Fentanyl Powder
• A Loaded 9mm Handgun
• 3.6 ounces of Cocaine
• 7.5 ounces of Methamphetamine compressed into pill form
• 92.3 grams of Oxycodone pills
• 24.5 grams of Marijuana with no medical license
After lying about his identity, Officers were eventually able to identify the subject as 33-year-old Zachary Teyon Bevilacqua of Winfield, Kansas.
Bevilacqua is being charged with Aggravated Trafficking CDS (Meth) AFC+2, Trafficking CDS (Cocaine) AFC+2, Trafficking CDS (Fentanyl) AFC+2, Possession of CDS (Oxycodone) with intent to distribute AFC+2, Possession of a Firearm AFC+2, Possession of a Firearm in the commission of a felony AFC+2, Possession of Drug Proceeds AFC+2, Possession of CDS (Marijuana), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, obstructing an Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Threatening or Intimidating a law enforcement officer.
