Bernard Benjamin Brown, 85, of Ponca City, passed away on May 24, 2026. Bernard was a devoted family man whose presence, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Bernard was the fourth of six children, with three brothers and two sisters. He was a devoted son to his parents, Edwin and Ellen Brown, and he dearly loved his many nieces and nephews. He was more than an uncle - he was like a father figure to his five nieces, always showing support, modeling his faith, and leading with integrity. One of Bernard’s greatest joys was spending time at the family farm in Peckham. He took great pride in his gardening and found peace and happiness there, surrounded by family, laughter, and the simple beauty of Oklahoma life. Bernard was also an avid golfer who loved outdoor sports. Over the years, he participated in and traveled to many golf tournaments and cherished the many friendships he made through the game.
His legacy of love, loyalty, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Bernard was a devout Catholic and served as a Godfather to many of his nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. He also served many years as an usher and was actively involved in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ponca City.
He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
