TODAY (Area 2 Timing)• Earliest storm development: Around 4 PM
• Most likely timing: 5 PM – 8 PM
• Storms moving northeast at 20–30 mph
OVERNIGHT INTO TUESDAY (Area 1 Timing)• Earliest overnight storms: Around 9 PM
• Most likely timing: 11 PM – 5 AM Tuesday
• Storms moving southeast at 25–35 mph
IF storms develop, hazards could include:• Large hail (up to baseball size possible)
• Damaging winds up to 70 mph
• Tornado potential
At this time, the most likely scenario is limited storm activity this afternoon, followed by a better chance for storms overnight as a cold front moves through.
Outside of storms, strong south winds of 25–35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected today. Secure loose outdoor items and use caution while driving high-profile vehicles.
