Jan Paula Spaulding, 78, of Ponca City, OK, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at her home. Viewing will be between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm, family present 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday, April 6, 2026, at Trout Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Jan was born on Wednesday, April 13, 1947, in Butler, MO, to William "Bill" Thomas and Margery Pauline (Hammond) Rutledge. After graduating from high school, she joined the United States Army. She married Allen Spaulding in 1980, in Ponca City. Jan retired from Conoco as a Seismic Data Processor. Jan enjoyed crafting and made many perfect dolls and fairies.
Jan is survived by: her husband, Allen of the home; sister, Kathy Brooks of Michigan; and was the favorite aunt of several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Rutledge.
