Authorities said a Custer City man admitting to starting several wildfires in Oklahoma was arrested Saturday.
Hundreds of acres in Custer and Dewey County burned earlier this year due to the fires started by Skyler Terrell.
The fires prompted several department responses and caused significant widespread damage.
According to an affidavit, Terrell said he started the fires using a lighter.
He was booked into Custer County Jail and is being charged with arson and engaging in a pattern of criminal offenses.
