WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A pedestrian who was killed in a crash north of Arkansas City was identified on Monday.
The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office said 32-year-old Kasey Joe Barclay — formerly of Ponca City, Oklahoma — died after being hit by a Nissan Rogue on Saturday evening. It happened on U.S. Highway 77 at 242nd Road around 7:20 p.m.
The sheriff’s office said Barclay was walking in the roadway.
The driver of the Nissan, who is from Wichita, remained at the scene and is cooperating in the investigation, authorities said.
