OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Ken Luttrell, R-Ponca City, hosted Elliott Roles, a junior at Tonkawa High School, as a page at the Oklahoma House of Representatives recently.

Elliott has been active in both football and track for the past three years, balancing athletics with his academic responsibilities. The Tonkawa Buccaneers football team finished as state runner-up this season, and Elliott looks forward to helping bring home a state championship next year. After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Oklahoma to pursue a degree in mechatronics engineering.

“Elliott shows the kind of discipline it takes to balance school and athletics,” Luttrell said. “I’m glad he had the opportunity to see how the legislative process works up close.”

The House High School Page Program is open to juniors and seniors. Pages serve one week, Monday through Thursday, working in the House chamber during daily session, assisting representatives and House staff and participating in a mock legislature.

Rep. Ken Luttrell serves District 37 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. His district includes parts of Kay and Osage county.
