Early this morning, PCPD Officers responded to a local business where a man was seen stealing items.
When officers arrived on the scene, the male suspect ran into a wooded area behind the business.
Multiple officers set up a perimeter around the area to contain the suspect. A short time later, K9 Maxx was deployed and located the suspect hiding in the woods in a matter of minutes. At that time, Officers arrested 43-year-old Jerrymi Cooper. Cooper was transported to the PCPD and was booked in for Burglary, Obstructing an Officer, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
These are charges, not convictions.
