Mackie Planetarium to Host February Sky Show at NOC Enid

The Mackie Planetarium at Northern Oklahoma College Enid will present its February show on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m.

The program will feature the night sky over Enid during February and is titled “3,000 Years of Astronomy.” Planetarium Director Fritz Osell will guide attendees through the history of astronomy, highlighting major discoveries from ancient civilizations through modern science.

The show is free and open to the public, though non-perishable food donations are encouraged.

Additional planetarium shows are scheduled for March 3 and April 7, both beginning at 6 p.m.

Northern Oklahoma College, the state’s first public two-year community college, is a multi-campus, land-grant institution that provides high quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities and services.
