PAYNE COUNTY, Okla. –

A former Stillwater dental assistant is expected to plead guilty to sexually assaulting his patients.

Cody Stolfa worked at a Stillwater oral surgery clinic in 2021. During his tenure, investigators said he assaulted patients while they were unconscious, recorded videos of the act, then uploaded the videos onto the dark web. Police have identified at least 17 victims.

Stolfa’s blind pleas will be heard in the Payne County courthouse on Wednesday at 9 a.m, according to online court records dated Jan. 6. Records also show Stolfa tried to enter a blind plea to all of his 18 cases during a hearing last week, but the court needed more time to set up a hearing because it was short notice and it needed to notify victims. Stolfa also waived his rights to a jury trial willingly, according to court records.

According to court records, Stolfa faces dozens of felony charges related to the sexual abuse, including oral sodomy, sexual battery, and child sexual exploitation. Records also showed he pleaded not guilty to his charges in 2024 and 2025.

He was initially arrested in July 2024. Officials say he recorded himself sexually assaulting a 19-year-old man, who was a patient recovering from oral surgery. The FBI eventually found the video on the dark web.
