Ponca City Public Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Tina Fisher as the new assistant principal at Ponca City High School, pending Board of Education approval at the January meeting. A proud Ponca City High School graduate from the Class of 2002, Tina brings deep roots in our community and over 20 years of experience in education and leadership.
Tina earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northern Oklahoma College and Oklahoma State University in 2006 and completed her master’s in School Counseling from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2010. She began her career teaching third grade at Liberty Elementary and has since served as an instructional coach, school counselor, and principal at Washington Pre-K.
Tina and her husband Lane have been married nearly 19 years and have two sons, Easton (7th grade) and Owen (2nd grade). The family enjoys outdoor adventures like trail riding, fishing, and exploring new places.
Tina will be succeeding Kaitlyn Pressnall, who is transitioning to Director of Intervention and Support Services at the Board of Education.
Superintendent Adam Leaming said, “Tina has stepped up in big ways this year and has helped us as an 8th grade assistant principal. Watching her build positive relationships with students and staff this year has been incredibly rewarding. I’m thrilled she is taking a big step to help our teams at Po-Hi! 2026 is already off to an amazing start for PCPS.”
