New Sales Tax Rate Starts October 1st

The residents of Kay County and Ponca City have recently passed sales tax increases to build an annex at the Kay County Courthouse and a new Police Station in Ponca City, respectively.
The total sales and use tax rate in Ponca City effective October 1st, 2020 will be 9.25% (State 4.5% / Kay County 0.917% / City 3.833%).
The Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce reminds everyone to please be sure to adjust all registers, software, etc., to assure proper compliance with the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
