The inaugural Todd Glasgow Memorial Wrestling Scholarship was presented Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Foster-Piper Fieldhouse to sophomore Jessie Chavez.

Chavez is a sophomore Health, Physical Education, & Recreation major from Lawton, Oklahoma.

Glasgow’s family was represented by his wife Shana Glasgow; their children, Max and Maggie Glasgow; Todd’s brother, Lance Glasgow; and Todd’s mother, Melinda Glasgow.

Chavez’s parents, Vincent and Roberta Chavez, were present as well.

NOC wrestling coaches Bryan Kenney and Jayden Miller, Director of Development and Annual Giving, Kayla Wooderson, Vice President for Student Affairs Jason Johnson, and athletic director Alan Foster also assisted in presenting the award.

Following his death in January 2025, the Todd Glasgow Memorial Wrestling Scholarship was established by Todd’s wife, Shana. Through the generous support of family and friends, this scholarship provides students an opportunity to pursue their educational goals at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa and is presented to a member of the NOC Men’s Wrestling team.

Glasgow wrestled at NOC in 1982 before transferring to Oklahoma State University.
