On Wednesday, October 9th, Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a joint operation with the 8th District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and the Ponca City Police Department. Two arrests were made following two separate traffic contacts. K9 units from both the Sheriff’s Office and the Ponca City Police Department were utilized during the operation. One arrest was made for trafficking in methamphetamine, and the other for possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine. Following these arrests, a search was conducted in the 300 block of South Pine in Ponca City. The search of the residence yielded illegal marijuana and a large amount of methamphetamine. One additional arrest was made at the residence.
Approximately 516.4 grams of methamphetamine was seized from all three locations.
