WASHINGTON (TNND) — Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, declassified documents on Monday that allegedly show former President Joe Biden’s FBI spied on eight of his Republican Senate colleagues.
Grassley sounded the alarm on “Biden FBI weaponization,” calling it “worse than Watergate.”
The redacted document’s case ID is titled, “ARCTIC FROST—Election Law Matters—SENSITIVE INVESTIGATIVE MATTER—CAST.” The Arctic Frost investigation, which related to election interference, was opened in April 2022 and assigned to Special Counsel Jack Smith.
Lawmakers targeted were:
- Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
- Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.)
- Josh Hawley (R-Mo.)
- Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska)
- Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.)
- Ron Johnson (R-Wis.)
- Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.
- Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.)
- Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.)
“Based on the evidence to-date, Arctic Frost and related weaponization by federal law enforcement under Biden was arguably worse than Watergate,” Grassley said in a statement.
Grassley urged Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel to hold those involved accountable. Hawley seconded this notion.
