The Ponca City Public School (PCPS) District has launched a new mobile app to provide families with 24/7/365 access to important issues and information. The free mobile app looks like the picture above and can be downloaded any time from the iTunes® and Google Play® app stores.

PCPS Public Relations Director Mary Ladd explained, “During these unprecedented last few months, we have realized how critical it is to provide up-to-date, important information to our students, staff, parents and patrons. This new mobile app will provide parents with more school-specific information including current news and events, calendars, lunch menus, directories, sports schedules etc. Everyone will be able to stay connected with our local schools and with the activities our students are engaged in every day. We are excited about our new app and hope it leads to a stronger, more connected school community.”

When downloading the new mobile app from the app store, parents will want to personalize their information by going to “Settings” and selecting the school(s) they want to receive notifications from by “Turning the Button On.”

Partnering with Intrado Corporation, trusted provider of SchoolMessenger Solutions for education, the district has also launched a newly designed website and broader social media platforms to be able to communicate through all available outlets.
