MOORE, OKLA (KOKH) — A former Moore High School athletic facilitator has been charged with six felony counts of embezzlement and has stated she spent all the money on gambling.
Courtney Walker is facing six charges of felony embezzlement for embezzling approximately $61,000 from multiple school functions.
For one incident, Walker was collecting money for the Moore High School Lady Lions Swish Club.
Walker collected around $7,000 and never turned over the money, despite the president of the club attempting to collect the funds several times.
Between Oct. 24, 2024, and May 10, 2025, Walker oversaw four sporting events as the individual collecting ticket sales.
Between the events, she collected around $40,000 and did not deposit any money into the Moore School District’s account.
An additional $4,000 was lost as Walker oversaw a 7-7 football league during the spring, earlier this year.
As an athletic facilitator, Wlaker was entrusted with collecting funds from school events and depositing them with the Moore School District.
