PCPS Issues Update – 27 April 2020

Mike Seals - April 27, 2020 12:44 am

PCPS has issued the following update:

West Middle School, East Middle School, and Po-Hi Continuous Learning Activities pick-up for the weeks of April 27 and May 4 are Monday, April 27 from 4:00-6:00 PM. However, if you prefer to download and print the activities, they will be online by 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 26.

If you have them available, bring packets from the weeks of April 13 and April 20 with a date of the completion of the activity in the box. If you did not complete all the activities, IT IS FINE. You do NOT have to bring the actual activities, but if you want to, teachers would love to see the progress.

Some students may have sent activities to their teacher via email. Please remember Continuous Learning Activities DO NOT affect a student’s grade. The purpose of Continuous Learning is to keep students thinking and problem solving and to give our students and teachers a chance to stay connected. WMS, EMS, and Po-Hi packets are for two weeks again this week, and will conclude the Continuous Learning through May 8, the final date of instruction this school year.

You may deliver hard copies of the weeks of April 27 and May 4, the week of May 11. Principals will have bins sitting outside the main doors of each building.

PreK and Elementary final Continuous Learning Activities pick-up will be May 4. We will remind you with a press release!

Please call if you have questions. Principals will be in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Your may also call Central Administration with questions – 580-767-8000.
