Register for the 2nd Annual Great American Kayak Race held at beautiful Lake Ponca on Independence Day. Kayakers will maneuver around the marked course on the East Lake to prove their paddling skills and come out on top.
The first place grand prize will be a Blackstone Griddle. Additional prizes awarded to 2nd & 3rd place, best patriotically dressed, and best kayak décor (age and gender divisions based on number of participants). There’s no better way to celebrate America than on Lake Ponca.
Racers must propel their kayak by their own power.
Registration fee is $30. Optional race shirts are available for purchase for $15.
For those without a kayak, there are a limited number of kayaks available to rent for the race for an additional $10.
