Snow possible Tuesday night through Wednesday morning

Ponca City Now - January 21, 2020 4:25 pm

Ponca City Emergency Management Director Paula Cain says “We have a great night to look forward to!”

At 4 p.m. Tuesday, Cain said the Ponca City area is under a Winter Weather Advisory from midnight to 9 a.m. Wednesday.

“We expect wet snow overnight, up to 2”, which will melt rapidly,” she said.  “Roads and sidewalks could be slippery in the morning, but a thick coating of ice is unlikely.  Instead expect a slushy mix of rain, snow and sleet.”

More rain is coming on Wednesday, that will remove any sign of the snow that fell overnight.  What follows later in the week should make everyone smile!
