Friday night lights started off pretty exciting for the Wildcats versus Bartlesville Bruins. The score was 14-14 within the first few minutes of the game.

It started with a 35 yard touchdown run by Kyter Welch and the P.A.T. by Spencer Ball within the first 20 seconds of the clock.

Bartlesville then scored and the combo of Welch and Ball made it 14-7.

Bartlesville put points on the board again but Justin Andrews brought it up to 20-14 with 17 seconds left in first quarter.

During the second quarter Bruins scored as well but Ball kicked a career-record 42 yard field goal to make it 23-21 at halftime.

A 32 Yard Rushing TD from Welch to total 29-28 end of 3rd quarter put Ponca back in the lead.

It was quite a game of back and forth but Wildcats lose 34-29.
