Minnesota reaches Women’s College World Series

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Minnesota broke through to reach the Women’s College World Series for the first time in school history this season. The Golden Gophers will play UCLA on Thursday.

In other opening day matchups, No. 1 seed Oklahoma will play Alabama, Oklahoma State will play Florida State, and Washington will face Arizona.
