Officials identify three found dead near Ripley as father, two children

Authorities in north-central Oklahoma say three people – a father and his two children – have been found dead near Ripley in Payne County in what the Payne County Sheriff’s Office is calling a murder-suicide.

Police say Jackie Boyles shot his two young children before turning the gun on himself. According to the Payne County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were responding to a missing person’s case out of Lincoln County when they found the three.

The Payne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating along with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigations.
