ARDMORE, Okla. (AP) – A Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spokesman says two agents wounded in a shooting at Ardmore that left one man dead were both treated and released.

The Oklahoman reported Saturday that ATF spokesman Russ Morrison said one agent was treated at an Ardmore hospital and the second was treated at the scene of Thursday’s shooting.

The wounded agents’ names were not released.

Police say Henry Jackson was shot and killed by Ardmore police after Jackson opened fire on them about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police say Jackson was wanted for a shooting on Wednesday when the ATF agents found him and that Jackson opened fire – wounding the agents and escaping. Ardmore police later found Jackson and Police Chief Ken Grace says the officers shot and killed him after Jackson opened fire.
