LEXINGTON – Monday morning, at approximately 8 a.m., correctional officers at the Lexington Assessment and Reception Center initiated a routine inmate count.  Inmate Curtis Seals Jr, 39, was not present during the count in the minimum security area of the prison.

He was present during the 6 a.m. count, which lasted until 7 a.m.  Therefore, Seals walked away from the facility between 7 and 8 a.m.  Seals is serving nine years for five counts of lewd or indecent propositions or acts to a child out of Oklahoma County.

The Department of Corrections Office of Fugitive Apprehension and Investigations team along with local law enforcement are searching for the inmate.

Seals is a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 178 pounds, and has tattoos of a heart and scroll on his left arm and a cross and scorpion on his right arm. If you believe you know where Seals is located, call the DOC’s Fugitive Apprehension and Investigations team at (405) 203-8127 or call 911.
