A portion of State Highway 51 in Stillwater has officially been renamed in honor of the late T. Boone Pickens, prominent OSU philanthropist, alumnus and business man. The section of roadway, running from the intersection of Country Club Road and extending west to the intersection of Karsten Creek Road in Payne County was officially dedicated Friday. Pickens passed away on Sept. 11, 2019 at the age of 91.
