Halloween is fast approaching and what could be better than a showing of the terrifying movie, “The Shining”?
The Poncan Theatre will show the thriller at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Prices for the Halloween special are:
$3.00 per person movie only
$12.00 per couple ( this includes movie for two, 2 large drinks and 1 large popcorn)
$8.00 per single ( this includes movie, 1 large popcorn and 1 large drink)
Jack Torrance becomes the winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel in Colorado, hoping to cure his writer’s block. He settles in along with his wife, Wendy and his son, Danny, who is plagued by psychic premonitions.
As Jack’s writing goes nowhere and Danny’s visions become more disturbing, Jack discovers the hotel’s dark secrets and begins to unravel into a homicidal maniac hell-bent on terrorizing his family.
