Special Session Ends

Senate and House worked quickly during special session these past five days.

Senator Eddie Fields says only four bills won’t be effective immediately.

“So, what that means for businesses that are looking to come to Oklahoma, to open shop, to move here it’s going to be business as usual," Fields said. "Lawsuit reform is still in place, so in that standpoint Oklahoma is still poised to keep making a positive trend in economic development.”

Fields says all but two or three bills past unanimously.

The biggest complaint among representatives and senators was still why this couldn’t wait until session in February.
