The New Emergency Resource Agency at 112 South First Street is always in needed of plastic shopping bags.
You can drop off your extra bags at the agency to help them provide food for those in need at no charge.
NERA is a 501C3 agency. Everything donated is given away. To receive food assistance, a person needs to have a bill within 30 days in their name and IDs for all the members of household.
