Despite the pandemic, millions of Americans will travel this Labor Day, with estimates of about 900,000 people per day as compared with 750,000 per day over the 4th of July holiday. AAA says about 97 percent of Americans who do travel this weekend will do so by car, including many who haven’t traveled at all since the pandemic started.
