Six new COVID-19 cases reported for Osage County Thursday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 102 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma on Thursday as there are 1,126 active cases. Since testing started, there have been 6,907 COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma.

Locally, Osage County has six new COVID-19 cases as their overall total is now at 102. No changes for Kay County where the case total remains at 57. Posted below are overall results for local counties:

  • Osage County – 102 cases overall/8 deaths/86 recoveries
  • Kay County- 57 cases overall/7 deaths/47 recoveries
  • Payne County – 48 cases overall/1 death/44 recoveries
  • Pawnee County -32 cases overall/2 deaths/27 recoveries
  • Garfield County -28 cases overall/1 death/24 recoveries
  • Logan County – 19 cases overall/1 death/18 recoveries
  • Noble County – 7 cases overall/no deaths/7 recoveries
  • Grant County – 2 cases overall/no deaths/2 recoveries

 

More data on Thursday shows that three more virus-related deaths occurred in Oklahoma, putting the state’s death toll at 344. One death occurred since Wednesday, the other happened between May 22 and June 2:

  • Two in Tulsa County – A woman in the 36 to 49 age group. The other was a woman in the 65 or older age group.

 

A total of 70 more Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19 to put Oklahoma’s recovery total at 5,781.
