A short, slight built Caucasian male, wearing a fake beard and mustache, entered Approved Cash at 2101 North 14 Street in Ponca City and demanded cash and told the clerks he had a bomb.

The incident was reported to the police department at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 7. The intended robber ran out of the store with nothing and into the parking lot and then into the open area just north of the Ponca Plaza.

The clerks told responding officers that the robber had brown eyes and eye brows. His hair was covered with a dark trapper style hat with light colored wool on the front and ear flaps. He was wearing a dark puffy coat, gloves, dark pants and an orange button up shirt on with a tie.
