FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Arkansas will honor its former basketball coach Eddie Sutton with a banner at Bud Walton Arena.

Arkansas says it will unveil the banner Feb. 20 during halftime of Arkansas’ matchup against Missouri.

Sutton coached at Arkansas for 11 seasons, beginning in 1974. He led the Razorbacks to five Southwest Conference championships and nine NCAA tournament appearances, including a trip to the Final Four in 1978. Sutton’s winning percentage of .776 at Arkansas is the highest in Southwest Conference history.

Other banners on display at Bud Walton Arena honor former coach Nolan Richardson and players Sidney Moncrief, Corliss Williamson, Bettye Fiscus and Delmonica DeHorney-Hawkins.

Sutton, who coached at Oklahoma State from 1990 to 2006, was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
