Tulsa basketball coach promotes one, hires one

TULSA, Okla. (AP) – University of Tulsa basketball Coach Frank Haith has promoted staff member Shea Seals to assistant basketball coach and hired Kim English to replace Seals.

Seals has been director of player development and team manager for the past three seasons and will now become an on-court coach. Seals was an All-America while playing at Tulsa from 1993-97 and is TU’s all-time scoring leader with 2,288 points. He later played in the NBA and in Europe, Asia and the NBDL.

English takes over Seals’ post as director of player development. Seals played collegiately at Missouri – including one season for Haith. English also played in the NBA and in Europe.
