OSU Wins Opening Game In Tournament

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) – Marcus Smart scored 30 points, and 5th ranked Oklahoma State nearly blew a big lead before beating Purdue 97-87 yesterday in the opening round of the Old Spice Classic. Markel Brown added 25 points for the Cowboys, who came in averaging 100.2 points. OSU led 52-29 at halftime in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
