Two injured in accident near Red Rock

A Red Rock woman was transported by Air Med to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City following an accident on State Highway 15, about three miles west of Red Rock in Noble County.

Angela Barnett, 47, was a passenger in a 2016 Honda Accord driven by Jacob Roubedeaux, 19, of Red Rock. He was not injured, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

A second passenger, Erica-Lee Breshears, 22, of Morrison, was transported by Perry ambulance to Perry Memorial Hospital, where she was treated for arm injuries. Friends of Breshears reported she was transferred to OU Medical Center.

The accident occurred about 10:36 a.m. Thursday. The car Roubedeaux was driving was eastbound on State Highway 15, departed the roadway to the left, struck a mailbox before re-entering the roadway, then exited the roadway to the right and struck a tree.

The Highway Patrol report cited inattentive driving as the cause of the accident.
