12-inch diameter water main breaks on Prospect Avenue

A 12-inch  water main has broken on Prospect Avenue, east of Fifth Street.

A city crew is working to fix the leak, which could be a complex process and could take approximately six hours.

Businesses on Prospect Avenue, from the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Fourteenth Street to the Atwoods store, will be without water. Water service will be restored to the affected businesses once the repair is complete.
