1 Killed in Shooting at Hobby Lobby Warehouse in Southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) – Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead in southwest Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Officials say the shooting occurred at the Hobby Lobby warehouse near SW 44th St and S Council Rd. Dispatch received the initial call at approximately 4:45 p.m., according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.

Reports say the incident started as a dispute between a Hobby Lobby employee and a manager.

The employee produced a weapon during the argument, and shot and killed the manager.

The suspect is described as a black man armed with two firearms driving a red Dodge Challenger. Police say he is still at large.

Police were initially unable to provide further details on the nature of the dispute.
