Audrey Eva Miller of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017, at her home at the age of 86 years.

Audrey Eva Miller was born on April 26, 1930, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, to Theodore J. and Ila Mae (Floyd) Morphis. As a young girl she moved with her family to Okemah, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Okemah High School in 1949. Following her education she moved to Freeport, Texas, and began working for her aunt and uncle. While there she met William “Bill” Webster Miller and on August 8, 1950, they married and settled in Blackwell where she served her family as a homemaker. In 1967 she began nursing training at the Blackwell General Hospital through the Felician Sisters. In 1970 she graduated as an L.P.N. and worked for twenty-seven years at the hospital, retiring in 1997. In 2003, along with her husband, she began working as a Blackwell Public School crossing guard and retired in 2014. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blackwell. She enjoyed various handcrafts including painting. She also enjoyed cake decorating, creating woodworking projects with her husband and her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Glenny and husband Stan of Blackwell; three sons, Ray Miller of Claremore, Skip Miller of Blackwell, and Reggie Miller and wife Carmen of Blackwell; eight grandchildren, Justin Glenny and wife Jill of Blackwell, Brandon Glenny of Blackwell, Colby Glenny and Alli Woodbury of Blackwell, Heath Miller of Enid, Jared Miller of St. Louis, Missouri, Crystal Marble and husband Tracy of Abilene, Kansas, Becky Lorg and husband Danny of Blackwell, and Randy Lively and wife Natalie of Ponca City; thirteen great grandchildren, Cody and Kenzie Glenny of Blackwell, Tommy Glenny of Blackwell, Kadyn Stuteville, Erica, Kyle, Gavin and Gerrick Gensicke all of Abilene, Kansas, Landon, Kylie and Emmy Lorg of Blackwell, and Collier, Kaytum and Jordan Lively of Ponca City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers, Jerry and Herben Morphis; two sisters, Darlene Julian and Sue Gray; and a great grandson, Garin Glenny.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 2nd in the First Baptist Church in Blackwell with Rev. Randy Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Justin Glenny, Brandon Glenny, Colby Glenny, Heath Miller, Cody Glenny, Kenzie Glenny, Landon Lorg and Jared Miller. Honorary casketbearers will be Tommy Glenny, Kadyn Stuteville, Erica Gensicke, Kyle Gensicke, Gavin Gensicke, Garrick Gensicke, Collier Lively, Kaytum Lively and Jordan Lively.
